Trusted Venues

Who doesn't want to get married in a gorgeous setting, surrounded by beautiful landscape with the stars shining overhead?
All of the Wedding Venues I've listed here have an elegance and beauty that is only surpassed by mother nature herself. While I do photograph plenty of inner city weddings around the Sydney region, I'm a kiwi boy at heart and love the open space that you can only get once you leave the CBD.

More than two centuries ago, Bendooley Estate was part of a large tract of land granted into private ownership by Governor Lachlan Macquarie. This original legacy can be still seen today: the grand Georgian homestead built from convict-hewn stone, the stately European trees and the magnificent cool-climate gardens across the private grounds.

This grand estate is a spectacular destination within the Southern Highlands. Explore the iconic Berkelouw Book Barn. Dine at Bendooley’s restaurant. Enjoy a wine tasting in the Cellar Door. Stay in luxurious cottages within the beautifully preserved 200-acre property. Take in the beauty of the soaring ceilings and spectacular interior spaces of The Stables.

Mali Brae Farm

Southern-Highlands-Country-Wedding-Venue-Jack-Gilchrist

This award winning venue, once an old hay barn, has been meticulously converted into a premier Southern Highlands Country Wedding Venue. Retaining the character of its humble origins, the barn is exceptionally comfortable and appointed with features that afford great style, sophistication and flexibility. Gorgeously appointed with fully functional facilities, the venue holds a maximum of 100 guests for your sit down function and can easily cater for 120 people for a cocktail style function. It is complete with a specially milled timber flooring and a cosy fireplace that adds to the rustic charm of the space.

Boxgrove Bathurst

BoGrove is a working farm and vineyard run by Kayla, Melissa and Ben.
Established in 1971 by Thellie and Barry Renshaw (Kayla & Melissa’s grandparents) it originally served as a farm, B&B accommodation and event space; seeing thousands of guests enjoy parties, short stays and functions over the years.
In 2012, the girls, along with their mother Karin, inherited the property. Kayla and Melissa opened a hair salon, Luxe Hair and Body, while Karin continued to operate the accommodation and livestock on the farm.
After 3 years of prosperity and success in opening Luxe, Kayla, Melissa and Ben (having worked in the wedding industry) thought they should continue to showcase the beautiful heritage that BoxGrove has to offer. And then in 2016, the function centre and surrounding gardens were built; ultimately, to share their rural piece of paradise with the public.

And so began the redevelopment and my personal love affair of BoxGrove.

Set in 25 magical rural acres, just over one hour south-west of Sydney and less than 15 minutes from Bowral, this wildflower farm offers a beautifully unique and personalised experience.

Born from one family's passion for both Australian native flowers and the beautiful Southern Highlands landscape, Growwild is a family owned and operated wildflower farm that has become an oasis of beauty in a rural bush setting, and has probably the most picturesque wet weather option I’ve seen in a southern Wedding venue!
