VIDEOGRAPHY COMPETITION
TERMS & CONDITIONS
Note: Only bookings that comply with and agree to these conditions of entry may take part in this promotion.
To be eligible for the Promotion, entrants must have booked a 10 or more hour package and paid the retainer to secure Jack Gilchrist Photography for their Wedding Day.
Entry is open for weddings commencing between 01 April 2026 – Dec 31 2027 only. If the prize winner changes their wedding date to outside these stipulated dates for any reason, they forfeit their prize.
Weddings beyond 1.5 hours drive but within 4 hours drive of Sydney will be required to pay a travel fee for all attending photographers and videographers. Weddings located within 1.5 hours drive of Sydney are not required to pay a travel fee.
The base prize is for 10 hours of videography coverage, a 4-5 minute highlight edit, full length uncut Ceremony footage and full length uncut speeches footage only.
Additional costs including but not limited to extra hours, travel and accommodation, packaging, USB's, additional Videographers. Additional albums and prints are optional, and are to be paid for by the the prize winner if they request such items added onto their free 10 hour video prize.
Competition opens at 17:00 AEST Jan 4th 2026, and ends March 31st 2026 at 23:59 AEST.
The prize will be drawn at Jack Gilchrist Photography by way of an automated random name selector and the Winners will be notified directly by text and/or email.
Current inquiries or bookings made outside of the competition timeframe will not be eligible to enter the competition.
This prize is either for 10 hours videography coverage or a 50% Photography package discount only. If the winner does not wish to receive 10 hours videography and they live within the Sydney Region, they are eligible to swap the prize from Videography coverage to a 50% Photography package discount, or forfeit all prizes. Winners outside of the Sydney region will need to pay a travel fee for the attending Videographer or forfeit all prizes if they choose not to have a Videographer attend. No other options, transfers, combinations or discounts are available to the prize winner.
In the event that for any reason whatsoever the prize winner does not, or is not able to take the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of the prize. Prizes are not transferable between people, family or friends and the amount is not eligible for trades or refunds.
Employees or contractors of Jack Gilchrist Photography will not be eligible to enter the competition.
Prize values are based on 2026 pricing and are inclusive of tax. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any change in prize value between now and the ultimate date individual prizes are taken.
The accepted Wedding Photography Contract overrules all competition conditions, and by accepting and signing the Wedding Photography Contract you are agreeing to all of it's terms and conditions.
